About Us

CSC Group is a not-for-profit community club, formed in the early 1990’s.

From somewhat humble begins, CSC Group (Caboolture Sports Club Limited) has grown into one of Queensland’s largest multi-sport community clubs, operating four licensed clubs, six sporting clubs and supporting hundreds of other sporting clubs, community groups and individuals every year.

The club was founded in February 1994 when six local sporting groups – Softball, Touch Football, Cricket, Dog Obedience, Soccer and Rugby Union – collectively formed a single incorporation and Caboolture Sports Club Inc was born.

The Group’s aim was to provide ‘a welcoming, safe and friendly club environment with quality sporting facilities in our region’. After three years of hard work and planning, the club opened its first licensed club, Caboolture Sports Club, on Station Road in Morayfield.

In 2006 the Caboolture Sports Club saved the Caboolture Bowls Club from imminent closure when it purchased the freehold land and club facilities from private owners.

Shortly after purchasing the Club, Caboolture Sports Club completed a major refurbishment and re-opened the venue as Centenary Lakes Sports Club & Function Centre.

In 2013, the club progressed from an incorporated entity to a company limited by guarantee structure and took on the name of Caboolture Sports Club Limited.

In early 2014, the club began investigating the opportunity to create a new greenfield club in the North Lakes region. Shortly after this time, changes were made by the State Government to increase opportunities for clubs to establish additional venues under their existing licenses.

This provided a catalyst for the Club to ramp-up its investigation for a greenfield site and in January 2015, a contract was placed on the parcel of land at 36-42 Flinders Parade.

After subsequent approvals for development applications, liquor and gaming licenses, construction began on the North Lakes Sports Club in May 2016, with the club opening its doors in May 2017.

In July 2016, the freehold land and building on which the Caboolture RSL resides was purchased from private investors and the CSC Group today provides assistance to the Caboolture Citizens and Services Club Limited through an approved Management Services Agreement.

In late 2016 Caboolture Sports Club Limited launched its new CSC Group brand, designed to better represent the club’s growth to operate multiple sporting and licensed clubs across the Moreton Bay region.

While the CSC Group’s licensed club operations have seen it grow to one of the largest not-for-profit community clubs in Queensland, the group also continues to expand its provision for sport across the Moreton Bay Region.

In addition to operating the six foundation sporting clubs in the Moreton Bay region, in 2017 CSC Group committed to taking on leases at three major sporting facilities in the North Lakes region.

The agreement with Moreton Bay Regional Council will see the CSC Group provided their expertise in sports management to the eight local sporting clubs utilising the facilities.

In September 2020, the long-standing Caboolture RSL surrendered their lease from the property owned by the CSC Group, located on the corner of Hasking St and Beerburrum Rd, Caboolture. The CSC Group decided that they would continue to operate a new community club from the location.

The decision was also made that the Caboolture Morayfield & District RSL Sub Branch would continue to meet and run their community service from the new venue, free of charge.

The new community club, Sports Central Caboolture features a Bistro, Café, Gaming Lounge, Bar facilities, and three Function Spaces. The club also received a small facelift before it reopened to the public in late September.
